The Tucson Gem Show was a real treat this year! Long days were spent digging through, sorting, and stumbling upon some rainbow infused magic for you all.
Tucson is also home to Saguaro National Park. We love starting our day amongst these giants ❤️
Did you know that I do most of my gemstone purchasing in Tucson, AZ in February of each year? The Tucson Gem Show is world-renowned, and unparalleled in size, quality, and assortment. There are nearly 50 separate shows going on simultaneously with exhibitors from around the world spread throughout the city.
Each year I make a list of the vendors and miners I continue to support and purchase from as well as make time to wander in the hopes that I stumble upon exciting new options for the line. This year, that desire to wander really paid off! Not only did I discover some truly magical opals (and in pairs!), but new gemstone carvings, Tahitian keshi pearls, abalone inlaid ammonite, stunning Tidal Moon options, and some spectacular vintage all-natural rubies!

These sparkling, vibrant “matching” pairs were cut for earrings… but I can’t help but imagine them in a Tropical Fish charm, Sunbeam ring, or the new open style cuff ring!

I also have some brand new Tidal Moons available. Whether they show as a phase of the moon (hellooooo bicolor tourmalines!) or their appearance is other-worldly (does anyone else see Saturn’s rings on that peachy opal?), I absolutely love how these turned out.
One of my favorite Tucson discoveries… These magenta rubies! The larger trio have shades of opalescent peachy pink that I could not leave behind.
